Introducing Huntingdon Chiropractor Dr. Michael Simone

I will do whatever it takes to help you achieve your health goals. I work with many local health care professionals in order to customize your treatment, and referral to doctors of different disciplines is often necessary. Dr. Michael Simone

I've been through back pain. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor I had two herniated discs. When you come to Family Chiropractic in pain, I know what you are going through, and I know when I can help you and when I need to send you to someone else who may be able to help. That's why I chose Chiropractic as a profession.

I attended the University of Pittsburgh for four years where I studied pre-healthcare professions. I then went to Life Chiropractic University in Georgia for four years and completed my Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Michael Asks some important questions of interest to Huntingdon residents - Chiropractor Huntingdon Dr. Michael Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
